 This is the public profile of me, Karsten Becker. I'm 37 years old and live in the center of Berlin (Germany). I'm married and father of two daughters. My profession is Linux and OpenSource software. I work as head of the IT department in a non-profit political institute, specialized on applied environmental research, policy analysis and consultancy. I'm an active member of the German Unix User Group; some of my computers are doing calculations for BOINC projects, e.g. SETI. My free time I spend very often with my family in my garden plott.
